The Custom 24 is the definitive PRS guitar. Unveiled at the 1985 NAMM Show, this stellar six-string was PRS’ very first production model and it remains their most popular instrument even today. Distinctive for its flying bird fingerboard inlays, dual humbuckers, 24 frets, 25″ scale and ergonomic body contours — the Custom 24 is considered a modern classic among guitarists.

Custom 24-08

PRS’ Custom 24-08 model keeps all the foundational specs of the best-selling Custom 24 intact, but takes the platform to new sonic territories. Like its Core Series counterpart, the SE Custom 24-08 features two mini-toggle coil-tap switches that individually split its humbuckers into true single-coils — for a total of eight pickup configurations. This makes it arguably one of the most versatile guitars on the market, at a fantastic price-point to boot!

Rich Mahogany Body

The stunning PRS SE Custom 24-08 boasts a Mahogany body, delivering a warm sound with plenty of harmonic richness in the mid-range. Adorned with an amazing Flamed Maple top veneer top, this instrument’s beauty is guaranteed to inspire you to pick it up and play for hours on end.

“Wide Thin” Neck

Joining the body is a bright-sounding Maple neck shaped to PRS’ contemporary “Wide Thin” profile. While the material adds plenty of top-end snap to give notes more immediacy, the unique neck carve provides an incredibly modern and playable feel. The neck is also topped with a silky-smooth Rosewood fingerboard that offers a luxurious touch under the fingers.

High-Quality Hardware

Although this particular model may be a part of the affordable SE line, PRS spared no expense when it came to the instrument’s hardware appointments.
