Top Construction

At the core of the RG565 model is its Basswood body, a tonewood which is often used by Ibanez for its light weight and warm, balanced tone. Super slick playability is catered for by the slim Super Wizard 5-piece neck, which is adorned with 24 jumbo frets. It’s crafted from Maple and Walnut for enhanced top-end and rock-solid stability.

Powerful Tone

The Ibanez RG 565 is equipped with dual humbuckers, a blade-style Infinity R in the neck and a V8 in the bridge. These high output pickups are perfect for screaming leads, with precise clarity and articulation at the highest of gain settings. Using the 5-way pickup selector, you can coax a wealth of tones from this guitar – giving you plenty of tonal versatility if you need it.

Expressive Playability

Hardware-wise, the Ibanez RG-565 is a true workhorse guitar. Tuning-stability and extreme bends are covered by the Gotoh machine heads and the Ibanez Edge double-locking tremolo system.
