The Bluesbreaker legend
Bursting onto the scene in 1962, the original Bluesbreaker amplifier gave player more expression, richness, and smoothness than ever before. Named after the group that Eric Clapton played with, it quickly became one of his choice amps for its responsive dynamics and bass rich tones.
Made in the UK
Hand wired in the UK at the Marshall factory, there’s care and precision in every inch of the Bluesbreaker pedal. Built with durable mild steel and sturdy components, you can be sure it’ll stand up to constant gigging, recording, and jamming use.

I play single coil guitar into clean tube amp. I wanted a simple pedal to add subtle breakup to the clean sound without changing the amp sound too much…for blues. This pedal does that very well. I watched mabey 10 YouTube videos on this pedal all were very accurate. The drive is subtle and you WONT repeat WONT get any more than subtle even with gain up full. The tone is subtle as well and seems to open up a touch more to the gain. Mabey with p90’s or H.Buckers or an amp with overdrive channel you might get more drive. It is reissue of a classic and handmade etc. this is probably why it is expensive. I would say one could get the same tones from a less expensive pedal of which there are many. But I was drawn to this for its simplicity and quality. I have the main pedal types but lately I want to have simple setup with as few buttons and switches as possible.Overall I got the exact effect I wanted with the Marshall bluesbreaker reissue pedal.
