About This Product

Natal was conceived in 1958 by distinguished British percussionist Alan Sharp when he was unable to find the exact instruments he wanted to play and decided to source the individual parts and assemble them himself. His Afro-Cuban bongos were of such high quality that orders began to flood in, eventually leading to the foundation of the Natal Percussion Company in 1965. Continuing Alan’s legacy, the Natal design team have produced a stunning range of drums, snare drums and hardware. Every part and component is designed from the ground up. Natal is committed to producing drums and hardware of the highest quality. Since 2010 Natal have been part of the world-renowned Marshall family of brands (yes – the amplifier people!), and have remained faithful to this day to the original designs that music icons fell in love with, even utilising the original moulds in their manufacturing process.

With Siam Oak shells and natural hide heads, these Natal congas produce a rich, warm tone. They feature sturdy chrome-plated hardware including Natal’s own “Comfort Hoop” rims and are uniquely designed to improve playing technique. These Fuego Series congas come with individual basket stands.
